An earth quadrille for the dverse prompt. This earth, is home, cracked like tectonic plates, fissured clay, where life runs beneath the kestrel’s watchful eye. Here the sun rises, sets, the moon drifts, shadows dapple night and day, and this earth cradles owl, vole and timid human in broad untiring arms.
